Toys for Tots would not be possible without the Marine Corp Reserve's hard work to collect and distribute the Toys collected at locations such as and we are proud to be associated with these fine men and women.

Thank you for visiting, but as of December 2012, the Blue Lights have been permanently turned off.

After 10 years and over 10,000 donated toys, 2011 was the last year the 100,000 lights would glow over the skies of Athens. The house on Brickleberry is no longer my home and I don't have the means or location to put them up elsewhere. They were an immense part of my life and brought me so much happiness. I am so grateful for the thousands of people who visited and donated the toys which made Christmas brighter for so many children, and for me. Going out to empy the toy bin each night and seeing the donations that were given was one of the greatest joys I've known. Thank you all and Merry Christmas.

P.S. This site will remain up as a memorial to the lights.

Fun Facts

There are almost four and a half miles of Christmas light strands on the Bluelights House! is now designated as an official Toys for Tots donation center! In previous years, took donated Toys to TFT dropoff locations at local shopping centers. However, there were so many donations that we were overloading local TFT donation spots, so now we're on Toys for Tots weekly pickup route!
